NOT Lost in Translation

Some of our speakers did not speak English and most of the teachers from the United States do not speak Japanese. Therefore, we have been provided with translating equipment that is placed over the top of your ear. Then, you set the device for either the English channel or the Japanese channel. After that point, whenever somebody is speaking the “other” language an interpreter translates and you can hear it in the earpiece. It made me feel like a member of the United Nations.
